The supplier portal that reformats
and translates the data.
Your suppliers send the data they have - whatever the format, whatever the language. You get the data you need: ready for your shop.
Available today: product data translation for any merchant
- Default mode: $9 per 1M characters, per language
- Legal mode: $60 per 1M characters, per language
The supplier portal is in development. Translation works now.
Via our sister product Optivise, live on ADEO, Conrad, Voelkner, Debenhams and B&Q.
One file is enough. No credit card, no project.

Before you translate: see how complete one range is.
Upload one Excel or CSV — a single range, not your whole catalog. About three minutes later you get a report: the product types found, the fill rate of every column, and 10 sample articles enriched by AI. If your buyer asks for ETIM, the matched classes and the missing features are in there too.
- Detected product types and the fill rate of every column
- If your buyer asks for ETIM: matched classes and the features still missing
- 10 sample articles enriched by AI — before and after, from your own data
Three runs free. No credit card.

Sound familiar?
If you sell in more than one language, you know these.
The range is live – in one language.
The articles are created, but only in German. Every other shop and marketplace waits until someone translates titles, descriptions and attributes.
Translation priced per project.
Every new range means a new quote, a new briefing and a new wait. Product data changes all the time, so the next round is never far away.
You don't have a translation team. You have Stefan.
Translation is nobody's full-time job – it's a side task for someone in product management or sales support. This is not about replacing that person. It's about taking the copy-and-paste off their desk.
The text has to hold up legally.
Safety notes, warranty terms and material declarations can't be loose paraphrases. For those texts you need a more careful mode than for a bullet point.

How it works
From one language to every shop language – four steps.

Send your data.
Upload a CSV or Excel file – or send products via API. Columns, structure and IDs stay as they are.
- CSV / Excel upload
- REST API & BMEcat import
- No reformatting required

Choose languages and mode.
Pick your target languages. Default mode for everyday product text, legal mode for texts that have to hold up legally.
- Default mode: $9 per 1M characters, per language
- Legal mode: $60 per 1M characters, per language
- Pay per character, not per project

Translate with AI.
Titles, descriptions and attribute values are translated per field – units, codes and article numbers are left alone.
- Field-by-field translation
- Units, codes and IDs preserved
- Consistent terms across the catalog

Deliver to your shop.
Download in the same structure you sent, or fetch via API. Coming next: the supplier portal that reformats and translates supplier data before it reaches you (in development).
- Same structure in, same structure out
- Excel, CSV, BMEcat & API
- Supplier portal: in development
Where are you?
Translation works today. The supplier portal is next.
You sell in more than one language
Shops, marketplaces, wholesale, distribution. Your product data exists in one language and has to reach every shop language – again with every new range and every price update.
Your suppliers send data in every format
Excel here, PDF there, a different language each time. The supplier portal will reformat and translate supplier data into the structure you need. It is in development.
You can send this page to your suppliers.
Just want the translation API? Read the docs.
Translated, and still in the format your buyer expects
Translation keeps your structure – ETIM, BMEcat, or your buyer's own template.
ETIM
ETIM classes and feature codes stay intact; only the human-readable text is translated.
BMEcat
Import and export BMEcat with translated content in place.
GTIN
GTINs and article numbers pass through untouched – and are validated on import.
Custom Formats
Your buyer's own template: their columns, in their order, with labels in their language.
Built by someone who has maintained product data himself.
FacetFlux is built by Christoph Menge. Chris started coding at eight, on a C64. While studying physics at LMU Munich, he founded the subscription-billing service Pactas in 2011 — today's Frisbii. After selling it, he spent eight years at Fielmann as CTO of Fielmann Ventures and Head of Enterprise Architecture through the company's e-commerce transformation, then led the merchant domain as Product Director at Cenomi, Saudi Arabia's leading brick-and-mortar retailer, during its e-commerce initiative.
FacetFlux is where that converges: product data, done properly. Chris is German and works location-independently — usually somewhere between Europe and Southeast Asia.
When he's not working on software of some kind, you may find him in the kitchen or sailing — which are not mutually exclusive.
There is no sales department. If you write in, you get Chris.
Start with one file.
Translate one product file into one language. Default mode $9 per 1M characters, legal mode $60 – per language. You see the result before you change anything.
One file is enough. No credit card, no project.
